The expanding dental resin range now includes ten verified materials for both the NXD series and the XiP printer platforms.
In 20 minutes, xDENT201 resin can print up to ten full-arch orthodontic models.
With exceptional speed, accuracy, and dimensional stability, xDENT341 resin makes removable die models.
NexaX Dental Workflow enables dental laboratories to realize their maximum production potential.
Nexa3D, the leader in ultrafast polymer 3D printing, is expanding its digital dentistry portfolio with the introduction of two new dental resins and a dental workflow at this week's Lab Day 2023 in Chicago, Illinois. The two new resins join a portfolio of eight proven dental resins, bringing the total to ten, breaking down dental 3D printing productivity hurdles by increasing manufacturing throughput by up to 50%.
The NexaX Dental Workflow and the new dental resins will be on show at this week's Lab Day in Chicago, Illinois. Visit Nexa3D Booth T8 to see printed models or visit the company's dental website to learn more.
xDENT 201
xDENT201 is the quickest printing modeling resin created for ultrafast orthodontic model creation, producing up to ten flat models in under 20 minutes. xDENT201 is the clear choice for printing higher volume models for aligner production or orthodontic modeling needs, with an outstanding accuracy yield of over 93% at 100 micron deviation and great dimensional stability. This matte gray resin also delivers outstanding visibility and fine feature details at an affordable price, making it an excellent choice for scaled additive dentistry model creation.
xDENT341
xDENT341 is a high-resolution material that is ideal for 3D printing removable die forms with great accuracy and dimensional stability. With 93% dimensional accuracy at 50 micron variation, the material outperforms the usual dentistry industry accuracy rate of 65%. For detachable die models, proper fit is critical, and the xDENT341 demonstrates exact margins and contacts, offering highly accurate custom prosthodontic treatments such as crowns, bridges, and other implants at extraordinary speed.
Both resins push the boundaries of dental 3D printing by cutting production time by up to 38% and drastically boosting throughput on both the XiP desktop 3D printer and the NXD 200Pro platform.
"We believe dental 3D printing applications deserve a higher level of throughput and more favorable production economics." This is why our material development team, in collaboration with our material partners, continues to push the boundaries of what is feasible in terms of print speed and dimensional accuracy of 3D printed objects," said Avi Reichental, Nexa3D Co-founder and CEO. "We couldn't be more excited to bring these two new dental resins to market because we believe they will have a dramatic impact on the productivity of dental labs as well as deliver better patient outcomes."
NexaX Dental Workflow
NexaX Dental Workflow is a new software module from Nexa3D geared towards increasing productivity in dental laboratories, beginning with orthodontic and removable die applications. Users can spend less time preparation and more time printing with the new dental process. File import, orientation, and toolset selection for file repair, plane cutting, and base extrusion are among the new capabilities. Furthermore, the NexaX Dental Workflow optimizes model nesting across many builds, allowing the fabrication of an entire day's worth of print jobs via an intuitive and user-friendly platform.
