Nexa3D Increases Dental 3D Printing Throughput by 50% with the Release of New Dental Resins and Nexa

Ten validated materials for both the NXD series and the XiP printer platforms are now part of the expanding dental resin portfolio. In 20 minutes, the ENT201 resin printer can produce up to 10 full-arch orthodontic models. The removable die models made with ENT341 resin are made with astounding speed, accuracy, and dimensional stability.

Dental laboratories' full production potential is unlocked by NexaX Dental Workflow.

Ventura, California, February 23rd, 2023 At this week's Lab Day 2023 in Chicago, Illinois, Nexa3D, the industry pioneer in ultrafast polymer 3D printing, will introduce two new dental resins and improve dental workflow. The addition of the two new resins, which bring the total number of validated dental resins in the portfolio to 10, further breaks productivity barriers for dental 3D printing by significantly increasing production throughput by as much as 50 percent.

At this week's Lab Day in Chicago, Illinois, the new dental resins and the NexaX Dental Workflow will be on display. To view printed models, stop by Nexa3D Booth T8, or go to the business' dental website for more information.

xDENT 201

With a yield of up to 10 flat models in just 20 minutes, xDENT201 is the fastest printing modeling resin created for the ultrafast production of orthodontic models. The xDENT201 is the obvious choice for printing higher volume models for aligner manufacturing or orthodontic modeling needs because it exhibits excellent accuracy yield at over 93% at 100 micron deviation and great dimensional stability. This matte gray resin is a great option for scaled additive production of dental models because it also offers excellent visibility and fine feature details at a reasonable price.

xDENT 341

xDENT341 is a high resolution material created for precise, dimensionally stable 3D printing of removable die models. The material has a new level of precision with 93% dimensional accuracy at 50 micron deviation, which is significantly higher than the average accuracy rate for the dental industry, which is 65%. The xDENT341 exhibits precise margins and contacts, delivering highly accurate custom prosthodontic treatments, such as crowns, bridges, and other implants, at incredible speed. Proper fit is essential for removable die models.

By cutting production times by as much as 38% and significantly boosting throughput on both the XiP desktop 3D printer and the NXD 200Pro platform, both resins further push the production limits of dental 3D printing.

We believe that higher throughput and better production economics are warranted for dental 3D printing applications, and quite frankly, they deserve it. This is the reason that Avi Reichental, co-founder and CEO of Nexa3D, and our material development team, in collaboration with our material partners, keep pushing the boundaries of what is practical in terms of print speed and dimensional accuracy of 3D printed models. We are ecstatic to introduce these two new dental resins to the market because we think they will have a dramatic impact on the productivity of dental labs as well as deliver better patient outcomes.”

Nexa X Dental Workflow

The NexaX Dental Workflow is a new software module from Nexa3D designed to increase productivity for dental labs, starting with applications for orthodontics and removable dies. Users can spend more time printing and less time preparing thanks to the new dental workflow. Streamlined and automated file import, orientation, and toolset selection for file repair, plane cutting, and base extrusion are some of the new features. A full day's worth of print jobs can be created using the intuitive and user-friendly NexaX Dental Workflow platform, which also optimizes model nesting across multiple builds.
