The Kongsberg Ultimate has been making waves since its American debut earlier this year at a special event held at Kongsberg PCS's Customer Experience Center. Since then, it has earned the title of Best Wide Format Cutting Solution at the EDP Awards held during drupa and has recently won the prestigious PRINTING United Alliance 2024 Pinnacle Product Award.
Matt Thackray, Vice President and General Manager of Kongsberg PCS operations in America, expressed pride in these accolades, emphasizing that they reflect the company’s dedication to developing solutions that help businesses achieve more in less time. Thackray highlighted that the Apex3R strikes a perfect balance between performance and precision.
Its powerful and flexible design, paired with a wide selection of innovative tools, allows it to efficiently handle a variety of materials, including non-ferrous metals, plastics, wood, rubber, and various foams. The Apex3R’s ability to set the standard in CNC routing makes it a standout in the industry, and as this year marks the 35th anniversary of the MultiCam brand, visitors can expect some special surprises at the Kongsberg booth.
Returning to the event is the Kongsberg X24 cutting table, which was met with great enthusiasm at last year’s expo. The X24 is celebrated as the most versatile digital finishing device available, offering superior quality and a wide range of specialty tools that provide the speed, power, and flexibility required by businesses. This cutting table is capable of processing a wide variety of materials, including corrugated, folding carton, solid board, foam, coating blankets, wood, and various plastics.
